About Us

PuffinFolio is a small, independent project translating web novels into English — one chapter at a time. We started this because we kept finding stories online that we genuinely loved but that hadn’t made it into English yet, and we wanted to help close that gap.

Everything here is fan-made and non-commercial in spirit. We’re readers first, translators second. All chapters are free to read. If you enjoy a story and want to support the time that goes into translating it, there’s an optional way to leave a tip — but nothing on this site is locked behind a paywall, and nothing ever will be.

We do our best to translate stories that don’t already have an official English release, and we take licensing seriously — see our DMCA page for how we handle takedown requests from rights holders. If a novel we’re working on ever gets picked up for an official translation, we’ll remove our version and point readers to the official release instead.
